STERLING SILVER JEWELRY

Your jewelry should be handled with care to ensure they have a long (and shiny) life.

All sterling silver will tarnish over time, it is completely normal. But it will happen much faster when it comes into contact with substances like chlorine, perfume, lotions, hairspray and even salty air.

It is recommended that you do not wear your jewelry to bed, while showering or during sporting activities. Follow the last on, first off rule – put your jewelry on last when getting ready to go out, after you have applied lotions, perfumes and other products, and be sure it’s the first thing off before you shower.

Your jewelry should be stored in a cool, dry place, wrapped in a soft cloth or a tarnish-resistant pouch. It can also be stored in a plastic zip lock bag so no air enters to cause oxidization.
A safe way to clean most jewelry pieces is by placing them in warm water with a small amount of a gentle detergent. You can then rub them with a soft cloth or use a small, soft brush if necessary, then rinse and dry with a soft, clean cloth. For the resin part of some jewelry pieces, it is safe to also rub with a soft cloth.

Using a silver polishing cloth is also a great way to remove tarnish and make your sterling silver jewelry shiny again.

RESIN ART PRODUCTS

Paintings, pendants, ornaments, keychains and other resin art pieces can be kept glossy and bright by wiping with a soft cloth.

Although resin is a relatively durable substance, sharp objects can scratch the surface so be mindful to handle with care and not have sharp objects come into contact with the piece. Also, refrain from touching it.

If it gets dirty, a soft cloth dampened with a mild detergent and water can be used to rub the surface clean. Be sure to follow with a clean dry soft cloth so your piece can look glossy again.
